The vacation took a disastrous turn for a group of college students. What was intended to be an enjoyable getaway with friends quickly escalated into a nightmare when two students allegedly had their drinks tampered with. Zara Hull and her boyfriend Jake Snider, along with their friends, traveled to Cancun, Mexico, on August 1, marking Zara’s first experience traveling outside the United States. While at their resort, Zara and her friend Kaylie Pitze visited the swim-up bar for water, but soon after, both fell gravely ill, leading to Zara’s hospitalization. Zara reports that it took only two minutes for her and Kaylie to feel unwell, and they now suspect their drinks were spiked. A distressing photograph captured shortly after the incident shows Zara and Kaylie unconscious at the bar, holding hands.
