Rapper Dan Sur Says He Got Gold Chains Surgically ‘Implanted Into His Head’

Someone else quips: “Nightmare going through airport security I bet.”
“There really needs to be a line where doctors step in and say this is too far,” comments a fifth.
Another person questions: “How [is] he gonna sleep though?”

Dan Sur previously had a much more conventional look, keeping his black locks long and stylized.
He showed off his golden chains – some encrusted with bling – on social media, revealing that he ‘wanted to do something different’ by going through with the unusual procedure.
The rapper said: “I have it as a hook that is implanted in my head and that hook has hooks and they are all hooked in my skull, under my skin.”
In another post, Dan Sur added that he considers his look unique: “The truth is that I wanted to do something different because I see that everyone dyes their hair.
“I hope not everyone copies me now.”

The reggeaton rapper reportedly underwent the bizarre procedure in April 2021. It’s unclear how much it cost.
Since Dan Sur’s bold look has gone viral, an expert has spoken out and warned against the procedure.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Frank Agullo says whether or not the rapper’s look is the real deal, it’s important to understand that it would be a procedure that carries risks.

He tells Yahoo News: “They introduce an easy path for bacteria between the outside world and the internal body. In this case, the bone covering the brain.
“In addition, I am concerned about the amount of weight these hooks are supporting.”
The surgeon warns that hygiene and sleep are likely to become a challenge.
Dr. Agullo recommends that anyone wanting to achieve Dan Sur’s look buy a wig with gold chains instead, adding: “I don’t believe that it needs to be anchored to your skull.”
