The superstar singer closed the ceremony on Friday with a moving rendition of Edith Piaf’s timeless classic, L’Hymne à l’amour, from the first stage of the Eiffel Tower.
Dion was in excellent form, her powerful voice resonating as she hit the soaring, clean notes. She wore a stunning beaded white gown with tassels, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
Following her performance, Kelly Clarkson, serving as a commentator for NBC, was initially speechless. She then praised Dion, calling her “a vocal athlete.”
