A pole vaulter at the Olympics has broken his silence after he went crashing out of the men’s qualifiers in NSFW fashion.
France’s Anthony Ammirati competed in the men’s pole vault qualification at the Paris Olympics on Saturday (August 3).
Despite hoping he’d make the final, Ammirati missed out on a spot due to a rather unfortunate reason.
After successfully clearing 5.40 meters and 5.60 meters, the Olympian struggled to clear 5.70 meters.
His third attempt was the closest, but it was his own body that ended his hopes.
