The 1994 action thriller directed by Jan de Bont was a massive success, earning $350 million globally and becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of that year. A significant factor in its popularity was the undeniable chemistry between Reeves and Bullock, which turned them into an iconic onscreen duo of the 90s. The two actors later reunited in 2006 for the romantic drama “The Lake House.”
